    Hi…new guy here!

    Posted a classified ad and used the UBB image tags to post a picture but they are not linking to where I have them hosted. Any help out there? Thanks!

    The easiest and best way to post pictures is to load them right from your computer to this site. There is a radio button marked “Manage Photos”. Click on that and you can find where your pics are stored on your computer. Once you upload them, I beleive the pics will be resized automatically and you are limited to 4 photos

    Thanks, that’s what I ended up doing. I didn’t see anything about a size limit so maybe the pictures I was attemping to link to are too big??

    Anyway, pics are up!

    We’ve upgraded our systems designed to deal with photos here on the site. We’ve implemented some new scripting that properly sizes all uploaded photos for use here on the site with that re-sizing and formating taking place on our server instead of making the person uploading the photos deal with that on their end.

    Our goal is to add in that upgraded functionality to the entire website once we have all the bugs worked out of it in the classifeds. At that time the image tag will be removed from service. All photos displayed on the site will need to be uploaded to our server for display here in the forums.

    That’s great James. I’ve been lurking for a few weeks now and decided to sign up. Seems to be a good website for fishing information and one can never get enough of that.

    Not a problem… the end goal is to never have someone unable to share a photo here on the site because they didn’t know how to re-size the photo to get it under the 100,000 byte size restriction in place with the current uploader.

    In the column where it says FOR SALE, PRICE, DATE. How about adding CITY, STATE? So many on here don’t have that in their avitars and don’t post it in their ads. Then the seller won’t get questions, “Where are you from?”
