This is a step by step plan on how to start your own pole here on EFN.

      How to start a pole
  • First open up an area specific forum
  • Then click on the link marked Post
  • Then scroll down into the Instant UBB Code box and click on Poll Start, This will open a box where you will fill in your pole question then click ok.
  • Then in the same UBB Box, click on Poll Option, fill in the box provided and then click ok. Repeat this step for each pole option.
  • Then when your all finished, click the link that says Poll Stop then at the bottom of the post you can put a check into either of the boxes ,”Add this thread to my favorites or I want to preview my postand/or attach a file. Then click continue..

I hope this helps any one who would like to create their own pole..

thank goodness, when I first saw this thread subject I thought it was one of those awful nationality jokes. you know like give him an upside down map and tell him to walk backwards or something. but no, he is a helpful friendly EFN staff member after all. (his picture actually looks like my fishing buddy the morning after)

Hey Dude, like that hat. Seriously, where did you get it. I need to get one like that to help with keeping the sun off the face some as my skin likes to fry on the sides of my face. Does the sun get through the top of that hat? . Been lookin for something not so ”studly” and so far your hat looks the best. Thanks, Bill

Bill – You want that hat? Hello – is there anybody in there??

I think we need a poll on that hat?

I don’t think George “Guarantees” you will like that hat or your money back.

I recommend you just get a Bimini Top put on your boat.

I do like the fish though.

I talked to a guy yesterday who I saw on the water with a big Pro V LE who had a small top on the boat that covered the boat in the back, great protection for trolling 3-ways, etc. Also saw a big green Pro V on the river with a umbrella up for protection. The hat is much cheaper though, lol. Nice conversation pieces [hats and umbrellas] for the message board though, lol. Sure beats skin cancer problems though. Anybody else have any comments [want to have fun with this]? Thanks, Bill

What do you feel bad about? Something you did or about me maybe gettin a new hat? We could start a new fad here guys and stay cool in the hot sun here too. And besides, its not a dead animal on your head!! [sorry Reefrunner]. How many guys like that hat? How many guys think it protects your face from the sun better? Be honest now guys. Thanks, Bill

Just felt bad that Ecnook changed his profile pic, I trust he knows I meant no harm or ill will. Of course if I had, he always has ‘terminator’ priveledges and could just zap me.

I do like the hat, although I think a straw cowboy hat is more my style.
