New addition

    Well,
    I have been pretty occupied the last couple weeks, but I finally made time to share with you my new “Addie”tion. My wife was pregnant and hospitalized Wednesday March 7th. Her due date was April 19th, but they kept her in the hopsital due to some complications. At 5:09 am Sunday March 11th (the day after mom’s birthday), the placenta seperated and we had an emergency C-section. 20 minutes after mom felt some pain, we had a baby girl. Her name is Addison (Addie) Mae Wieman. She came a month and a half early and weighed 4 pounds 14 ounces and was 17 3/4” long. Mom had some organ failures and was out in ICU for a few days, but is now doing great and has been discharged from the hospital. Little Addie also spent a few days in NICU, but is now in the new born nursery. She is becoming strong and we hope to have her home by this weekend. Here are a few pictures of the little one. Please welcome a future WALLEYE forum frequenter to the group.

    Here is a picture at 2 days old. This is the first time mom was able to hold the baby.

    She is a cutie! Glad to hear Mom and baby are doing well! I bet I know some proud grandparents! Enjoy every minute because they grow up way too fast.

    The granparents are very excited and so is daddy. They drove out for the day last week. I think grandpa is already mounting a carseat to an air ride pedestal for his Pro V.

    Good to hear health is back to normal.. those pregnncy complications are no fun(Fisher Sherry makes everything complicated )

    Congrats, I am very happy that both your wife and daughter are feeling good and getting stronger. It is amazing how much love you will feel for Addie.

    well congrats for you and your wife. also glad to hear the mom is doing better along with Addie. hopefully we will see her bouncing around on some of them big waves when she gets a little older. thanks for sharing those pictures, reminds me of the 3 times my wife looked totally exhuasted and relaxed.

    Addie gained another 2 ounces yesterday and the wife overheard a nurse this morning saying that she will probably be going home tomorrow. That would be awesome, I can’t wait to get my girls out of the hospital.
