It appears as if the Walleye Searchers Seminar is becoming the spring social event for area fishermen — over 200 people attended. Many new members signed up to join the club and we even made a profit this year (thanks to all the donations).
For those of you who could not attend the seminar but are interested in joining the club:
– Come to Monday’s 4/2 7:00 PM club meeting at the Eagles and sign up then.
– If you are out of town, or can’t make the 4/2 meeting, then go to http://walleyesearchers.com/ and mail in a “Membership Form” along with $25.
Once you have paid your dues, or your check is in the mail, then make sure to get registered on our private message board (instruction are on http://walleyesearchers.com/) and state if you want to fish the next tournament (there should be a thread just for that purpose). Or you can call one of the club’s members and tell them you want to fish the next tournament and ask them any questions you may have.
Our first club tournament is 4/7, details will be finalized at the 4/2 meeting and posted on our private message board. New members can choose any club member they would like to fish their first tournament with, from then on; it will be random drawing for partners.
Thanks to Lenny and Jason for showing us how to catch more walleyes at the seminar last night – you did a great job!
