Please Welcome Apple Valley Minnesota resident Jack Naylor to In-DepthAngling’s Field Staff!
Jack is an avid Bass fisherman that can be found chasseing Bass on Lake Minnetonka but has also been know to wet a line for Walleye on the mighty Mississippi. Not only is Jack a talented multi-species angler he is also a very talented taxidermist.
More about Jack in his own words…. “I was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area of California and learned fishing from my Dad at an early age. We mainly fished for Rainbow Trout from shore. As a 15 year old I would get all my household chores done early so my friend and I could beg my mother to take us to the lake and drop us off for the rest of the day. We had small rubber boats, and we would troll (read paddle) ourselves all over the lake catching the heck out of those Rainbows. I moved to the midwest in 1975, and to Minnesota in 1985. I was eager to learn all I could about all these new (to me) species: Northern, Walleye, Sauger, and natural lake Largemouth. I joined my fishing club, the Minnesota Valley Infisherman’s Club, in January of 1995 to increase my knowledge of multi-species fishing and make some new friends. I feel fortunate to have succeeded in both my goals.
I have been an IDA/FTR member since the very begining, and a Gold Site Supporter a couple times over. I feel like I want to give back more of my time to Indepthangling and our membership, and thought I could do so better as a Field Staff member.”
Welcome to In-DepthAngling’s Field Staff Jack! We’re thrilled to have you on-board to help in the Minnesota and Lake Minnetonka forums!
