    Hi Guy’s
With the spring fishing getting ready to heat up. I noticed my trailer tire’s are worn really bad on the inside. Look’s like it’s running out of line. I have a yath club trailer with a 17 pro-angler, picked up new 02-22-05. I fish 2 or 3 day every other weekend about 80-90 miles round trip. Was wondering if any of you guy’s have ever run across this problem and what might be wrong. Thanks for any help guy’s Jim

You may also need an alignment on the trailer. I did, and it made a HUGE difference afterward. You can also look at the marks on your leaf springs, and make sure the axle is centered. Sometimes boat ramps or rocks can throw them off. Your boat dealership can help you out with that. Otherwise any tire place should be able to look at the tires, and see if the camber or pitch need adjusting.

Could possably be overloaded for the akle rating. It wouldnt surprise me if the trailer is at max rating with just the boat and motor. Just a thought

Another thought too Jim, I contacted Karavan Trailers when I had the issue with mine, and they were a huge help! I imagine you have one of the big three, and I imagine any of them will give you some good advice.

I don’t know what kind of tires you have but I have never had good luck with Carlisle tires. Every time I’ve had them on a trailer they always seem to wear like crap. The only reason i mention is they are a popular tire for boat trailers.

Speaking of boat tires, mine are wore on the insides as well. Where is the best place in the LaCrosse area to find good prices?

I highly recommend Shrumy for your bone bending!

Yes they are the carlisle tire. I have heard nothing good about this tire. I was told goodyear marathon was a good tire to use on the trailer. Thanks for all the help guy’s Jim
