Cloud Town looks to have it the easiest….
Any idea on what the times and dates are?

I just can’t get past how they always seem to put the Top WCHA teams in the same bracket so they eliminate each other. That U of M UND game Sat night easily could have been a National Championship game….what an unbelievable hockey game.
I know we beat ND for the WCHA title….BUT….I would have rather avoided them until the Frozen 4. They are a great hockey team.

Not sure on the schedule…..I saw something that the Gophs play at 3:30 on Friday but I would have thought a #1 seed would have gotten the 7pm game. I also couldn’t find it on my online guide for mediacom. I think ESPN2 is covering the regional from Denver that the Gophs and UND are in but it isn’t listed yet. College Sports Television had some games listed but not who was playing.
I just hope the Gophers get the 7pm game so I can be at Wigwam havin a to watch the game. Heading to LOTW Thurs morning.

I hope the Gophers can maintain the intensity they played at against the Sioux.

Looks like SCSU lost twice this weekend and ended up with a better road than the Gophers! Well, to be the man you’ve got to beat the man. Bring on the Sioux and we’ll send them home early!

I agree that it is pretty stupid having the Gophers and North Dakota meet in the regionals. After Friday’s game I would have said ND was the best team in the country, but after Saturday I would say the Gophers and ND are pretty much unstoppable.

FSN has ST. Cloud tonight at 5pm. They also have the Gophers and UND tomorrow. They are carrying the Sunday semifinals too. Hockey, Hockey, and more Hockey.

I pick notre dame against minn. Would be a good game # 1 and # 2 teams fighting it out for the title.

Would have been nice to see nd and the gophers though

I’m not sure if my memory serves me right on this, but didn’t N.D. play in the same conference as the Gophers many years ago, like mid 70’s?

Notre Dame might have the luck of the Irish on its side, but I don’t think they are all that they are hyped up to be. I’ve got the winner of the Denver regional going all the way: Gophs or Sioux. Most the team in the tourney are pretty evenly matched, so anything can happen.

Boy, I don’t remember them playing in the ‘CHA…Not to say they never did. I just don’t remember them being there.
You probably thought ND was Notre Dame and it was North Dakota.

Gophers definately got the most difficult regional especially in the thin air elevation of Colorado.
Funny, no WCHA team in the Manchester pairings. Whoever picks these has it in for the WCHA teams.

Coming from Grand Forks I really think the NCAA has it in for UND and there nickname.

It ticked me off because I really think the NCAA title game was the WCHA title game last week. Three WCHA teams in the best league in the country picked for this tourney. Come on, lets see this program they have for picking these teams.

Last but not least, at least we can beat UND twice.

    GO GOPHERS!!!!!!!!!!

As familiar as these teams are with each other, it should be a pretty good game today. I wasn’t too impressed with the Gophers play against A.F.A. until the last 5 minutes. I have to wonder how much energy ND has left after that wild late game they played against Michigan??

1 – 1 end of the first period.

Gophers don’t look like they are willing to play UND’s physical game. I really wish they weren’t playing on a small ice surface, it is definitly to UND’s advantage. Hopefully the Gophers can figure out how to beat that 2 man forcheck.

The small rink favors the Gophers the Sue are faster and much more explosive.

    Great game so far.
