I will have some family visiting this June, and am looking for recomendations/ advice on a good launch service. What kind of things make one launch better than another?

I fished of the pride of Mille Lacs a couple times out of Hunters and had a great time. They are adding a 2nd launch, so there doing something right. It’s a nice rig.
Very well equipped and great captains that know where to fish.(if that’s important to you)

Yes, It is important. Also, if people catch fish and decide to keep some, how do they keep them sorted, or do you bring your own cooler for them?

You can get more info at Launch info

The launch is equuipped with the latest in fishing technology for the captain, fishing poles, bait is supplied, a cabin to get out of the weather if need be, grill, bathroom, huge livewell, very comfortable fishing.
Give them a look and you can also look at open launch senarios to keep the costs low.

That launch has been known to follow Dman around to all the good spots.

Or is it the other way around!?

    I’m getting old..Can’t remember anymore.

I do know Hunter’s does a really good job with their launche. Been on it a couple times myself. Caught nice fish both times out.

I’ve been on the launches at Izaty’s and Eddy’s and would recommend both. Just some more options for you.

Thanks everyone, I think this will get me started. Just one thing more tho, on the open launches do you usually need to reserve spots?
