I am planning a trip this summer to turtle flambeau or chippewa flowage. Does anyoune know of any good campground in these areas. It will be just me and the wife. Tent sites along the water would be the best.

    Thanks

I cut, pasted and posted your post over onto the Wisconsin Rivers General Discussion Forum to see if I can get you some answers over there. Hope it will help. Thanks, Bill

Dodge Boy did you get the info that you needed?? I picked up some great booklets at the last boat show and one was Wisconsin Campground Directory. On the bottom of the book is http://www.wisconsincampgrounds.com
That may be a good link to try. These books were free and I also have the one for the Chippewa Flowage
    http://Chippewaflowage.com
    or try http://www.parkfalls.com
I believe you can even camp on some of the Islands but there are some special rules I believe. Check with your local dnr and they should be able to give you whatever info you need. I think these books can also be picked up at your local tourest information center. If you still need more info on these areas or others let me know. Heck send me a pm and I’ll see if I can’t round you up a copy and mail it out to ya.
