Please welcome our newest addition to the IDA Pro Staff, Bruce “Doc” Samson!
Doc was born February 10, 1949 in North Dakota. He finished his formal education in 1976 with a Medical Degree. Most of his career was in Family Practice but he also worked in Emergency Rooms, Urgent Care Centers, Occupational Medicine Departments, and a Back Pain Clinic. He has such a passion for fishing that he went to shift work so he could fish walleye tournaments. His tournament successes and the challenge of a new career motivated him to change careers in 2002 to full time Professional Walleye Angler. This new career includes competing in major walleye tournaments, writing many how to fish articles including an Advanced Electronics Series in the Walleye In-sider. Not to mention product education at Sports Shows, seminars, the new Lowrance School, research and development for the companies he represents, and much more.
