    Well, to be honest – I do have some good news to share. During the last few months – I have had one more minor surgery and LOTS more chemo and other drugs. I was suppose to go in for major surgery last month – I had gone in for a complete up-date of scans, x-rays, and blood work. They found that two of the three tumors were gone and the third was smaller. I went back in the next day for out-patient surgery so they could see for sure. They confirmed the results from the day before and thats when I let the good news sink in that in deed that all the chemo and drugs were finally doing it’s job. I started another round of chemo instead of surgery because they feel that it should destroy the last tumor.

    Its been a VERY long road coming to this point. The chemo and drugs have caused issues with my immune system and so I have been confined to the house or hospital for many months. They feel if this last round works, I can go on a trial of three different drugs that have shown to keep ovarain cancer at bay. Then on to the road to re-hab and recovery and back to work.
