Chris, saw the post of your new G-3 in the Brandon Rolen Foundation Auction forum. A wonderful cause on behalf of a needy little boy. You guys are the best. I missed the auctions, but did what I could by sending a contribution.

Man, is that one sweet lookin’ ride! Is there any way you can post some more picks of her from various views, inside and out? We don’t have any dealers around here close (Muscatine, IA and somewhere in IL are the closest) don’t know a thing about either dealership, and it’s a bit hard to get a real grasp on what they look like from the G-3 website. For one thing according to the website, they are only available in 2 colors. Black/Silver or Red/Silver. Those colors don’t have any appeal to me. Your’s appears to be a “stunning” deep blue that really tripped my trigger. Just from what I could glean from the pic, it’s really a “georgious float”. Is that a custom color, just for “big wig’s” like Chris Tuckner, or is that a special order color available for a price. Seriously, that is such a cool color that it almost made me “wet my pants”. Well, possibly that was mearly a bit of old age continence goin’ on, but seriously, I love that color!

Something that kind of bothers me, is the lack of dealerships to this point. Is there a reason why more aren’t available, or are there more that I don’t know about?

I haven’t accually seen a G-3 yet, but would really like to. Maybe you could give a a bit of a tour. I’m waiting to find the perfectly (in my mind) layed out boat, before I make my next purchase, which hopefully is soon. It’s also going to require a new tow vehicle, which I would like to coordinate with the boat purchase in mind. I’d like them to be paired properly. Color coordination, towing requirements, my additional desired features, etc. If I’m going to spend that kind of money, I want it to be sharp, perfectly paired, and something that I absolutely love. I’ve waited all my life to be able to have the a package like that and I want it to be right.

Hi Gramps how are you? You probably did not realize this but you and I have kind of sort of met I was fishing with James the night after the full moon on the pound when your boat and his kept crossing paths Anyway just wanted to say Hi and to let you know that Chris might not see this till Sunday or Monday as I am pretty sure he headed up to the pond for some ice fishing. I could be wrong on this and Chris will be able to answer more of your questions but I believe only G3 Pro Staffers can get the boats in that color, but they are usually available for sale from the Pro Staffers at the end of the season. I am sure Chris will stop by here eventually to answer all of your questions

Thanks for the reply Steve. My son Jeff and I, met you at the fish fry with Wade. Hell yes, I remember you! Your the guy that could be heard halfway across the pond when you nailed “her”!! Outstanding fish, Steve. That’s the one of a lifetime for most of us. I was almost as happy for you as I would have been for myself. You noticed I said “almost” . Seriously, terrific job and great fish. James can really put you on ’em can’t he? Amazing!!

Tuck, I was being a lttle bit ribbing about the color thing, but maybe I need to . Seem’s you are a “big wig”, after all. That being said. If they want to really sell boats, they’ll be releasing that color option by next season if they’re smart. It gave me goosebumps and probably you too, when you saw it for the first time. Pardon my lack of knowledge here, but what is a wrap? I guess I don’t understand the thinking behind the boat manufacturing business. If you’ve got a hot eyecatching color, why not get it out there to help sell the boats. Don’t leave us with female duck colors when male duck colors are possible. I won’t buy a G-3 with the colors that they now have available. Reminds me of the stubborn Lund company. I’m looking this year, and won’t wait for G-3 to make the same stupid mistakes other boat companies seem to make. I had visions of a Hot Blue Dodge Cab and a half, towing a Hot Blue G-3, decked out with all new electronics by Jolly Ann. Now, that’s the unit of my dreams!

You will be seeing a few of these on the River this year. And Mille Lacs as well. Farm Island Marine in Garrison and Aitkin are selling them, as well as Hallberg and Hannay’s in the Metro area. The “V” series is a medium to big water boat. But it is very much at home on the River as well. This boat really is a fantastic trolling and rigging boat.

This boat has storage like no other! Smart storage! Dry storage in the very front. Netting to stow and secure gear, and rod lockers in the floor and room for three more on the passenger side.

    Front rod storage…
Comes with a Bimini top which is nice for those early spring slip bobber trips! A fish house heater…and you can fish in shirt sleves!
There is a ton of room under the dash on both sides for gear storage, and it stays DRY!

Thanks for the Pic’s Tuck. That is one nice float. Sounds like it’s got a great layout. Haven’t ever found one yet that was just right. This one might be it. I think I’m gonna have to wait for blue though.

Yep. It will be at all the FLW League events, and a number of the MTT’s. It will also be at the Wave Wacker in June.

    Ha! Good one…
Put up the top, and put the sunflower heater on the rod locker. The wind going over the top creates a back tow, blowing the heat in your face. It is awesome for opener!

Yep, I am getting soft in my old age…

Zero chance that will ever happen, unless of course I have my anchor in the water.

we shall see Jack. Everones boat is real fast (until it hits the water) Then the boats don’t lie! We can have a little race if you would like and we can see just how fast your boat is. By the way, why would you get that motor? The warranty is horrible and so is the gas milage. Why not get the 250 or even dare I say a Evinrude 225 HO?

Well when you get it and have it broken in, then we take a run and see whos who!
