I put on my leg and walked
last Sept. I had plastic surgery to close a wound on my right foot. It did not work and I wound up with a larger wound than I started with
well for the last 5 Mos. I have been totally off weighted
(wheel chair bound) so that the wound could heal
well I got the “OK” from the Doc to start walking 15min. 3 times a day to toughen up the skin
so I was able to get my leg on and took a few steps for the first time in five mos.
needless to say I was a little wobbley and my back aches but it’s damm good to be up
now its time to go fishing!!
Thanks for all the help and encuragement from prev.posts
it’s great to have friends like you all
I hope to meet a bunch of you at the April fools GTG
I’LL BE THE LIMPY GUY WITH 1 1/2 LEGS
    Thanks to all Frank

that is a huge step, no pun intended. but remember do over do it, you don’t need to be in pain through the fishing season. please keep us posted on your progress and also fishing reports or what you have scouted out.

    Great to hear Rodman

So if I see you wobbling around town, I will have to stop and say hi I have an open seat a few times, last minute type stuff if you are interested. I could problably even make the long drive from Mantorville all the way to Kasson to pick you up if needed

Great job Honey! Nobody is happier for you than I am. It will be nice to have my husband back! Most people don’t realize it but there have been so many things we couldn’t do because of you being off weighted. Even something as simple as dinner and a movie would have been a major production.

You’ve done a great job of sitting on your can and letting your foot heal. (Any of you who may know Frank know what a chore that was for him just to sit around.) You’ve adapted well and taken care of things at home as much as you could while I worked. I appreciate every little thing you do no matter how insignificant it seems for you.

How about you take your wife to dinner and a movie sometime soon? I happen to know first hand that she would love to go!!

Great news Frank. I think your wife deserves that dinner and a movie! Pool 4 is starting to pick up so when you are ready for that walleye excursion shoot me a PM. I am so happy for the two of you. I know you have been on alot of our minds. All lives have bumpy spots but yours has had some real potholes lately so it is good to hear when things are going good. Don’t do too much too soon, keep listening to the Doctor!
