Wow, Grand Rapids has played one heck of a game!! To be unseeded and take out the #1 seed, looking that way anywho. It’s looking like all the Northern team will advance, love it!

I am sitting here on my couch and watched my wife’s step neice get introduced on the cheerleading squad for blaine. then watching the varsity guys that show up at the rink all of the time skating and playing. it was nice to see Ben Lynch score shorthanded to tie the game up in the end of the first period. hopefully blaine can keep it going.

The Northern outstate teams, lowest enrollment in each division and all are still in the running for the respective championships and each taking out larger schools! Makes a statement on how strong hockey is up North. And the lowest enrollment of all teams, Roseau is competing in AA and may very well take it all.

Would love to see a north/south championship. 
That may happen in single A. as St. T looks tough and may beat Duluth, but if Duluth wins that game it will be an all N. final as the bottom of the bracket is Hermantown vs. Warroad. I think AA is going to be an all N. final with Roseau and G.R.. I think an all N. finals would be awesome as they’re the smallest schools in the tourny. And…I’m a Ranger!

I seem to never get sick of Hill Murray being knocked out early in the tourney. I grew up playing hockey for Tartan, and this was our biggest rival, and also the team alot of our teammates abandoned us for. It just goes to show that talent isn’t everything, its alot of heart as well. Hopefully if all goes like is should, we should see a strong championship game in class A between St. Thomas and Warroad, and Grand Rapids vs. Roseau in Class AA. Go up north teams!!
I’d like to see Warroad and Roseau win their respective classes. Then have them play against each other for an over all title!! That would be one heck of a good game between a couple of long time rivals.
There have been some good games. I will be parked in front of the TV this weekend. At this time of year we stack two TVs in the living room so we can watch the high school tourney, Gophers, and the Wild. This is my March Madness. 
Nothing better than watching Rapids knock out a big rich school. And it is fun to see the un-seeded teams beating up on the seeded boys.
How fun would it be if there was a true championship game between the big guys and the little guys?
well it was a great game last night between burnsville and blaine. I do have to admit, it seems to me that the blaine stopped moving thier feet and playing the body. they tried to get too cute with passing and not putting pucks on net, even though they where leading in the shot column. looking forward to watching todays games before heading to work tommarow.
