So not spending $12.50 is worth a $130 ticket……I think not.

Ya, you could save your self $117.50 – what could you buy with that money? Better safe then sorry.

It is stupid how they have it set up BUT I always look at it this way…Either way you look at it your only buying that license once a year. Its always nice next December when you DON’T have to buy one for the upcoming ice fishin’ season……Right ???

I actually like it, it forces me to react. I do not like that my snowmobile expires in June and my boat in Dec. That really makes no sense to me. Out of use out of mind mentality here. I get my shelter license, the same time I get my fishing license.

Not buy another one? They’re $12.50, not exactly breaking the bank. In a time where just about every one out there is running a expensive house, vex’s, marcums, aquaviews and everything that goes along with ice fishing, not to spend $12.50 to be covered for the season seems rather silly. If for no other reason than to save the ten fold ticket?

I just bought it at the same time I bought my new angling license yesterday so if I have to buy one what is the difference in getting the house license at the same time.

You’re going to buy one for next year either way, save yourself a little worrying (and maybe a hefty fine) and get it now. It’s seems like having it expire at the same time of your license makes the most sense, pick it up when you renew your fishing license. One less thing to get before your first outing next winter.

Why do we need to buy a shelter licence any way! I think that is ridiculous!

MN DNR just money hungry I guess!

Or may be its not our right to stay out of the elements while fishing! Its a privilege!
    Thats Minnesotas DNR for ya!
