Where did you hear that??
March 1, 2007 at 9:12 pm #543472It is has been on the news since noon. I-35 from Albert Lea to Ames and I-90 from Albert Lea to Soiux Falls are closed.
March 1, 2007 at 9:15 pm #543473Left earlier fron Fridley to Stillwater and it took an hour and half. 9 cars in the ditch along 694, glare ice on the road and no plows orclear areas. Have fun
March 1, 2007 at 9:20 pm #543475I had 12 inches at my house here in SE Nebraska. Total blizzard conditions once you get outside of town. Sounds like all of Omaha is shut down. I needed to go to Cabela’s up there today and couldn’t get there because all highways in and out of Lincoln were closed. I called Cabela’s to check their hours today and they were closed for the day.
March 1, 2007 at 9:22 pm #543477At about 7″ so far in St Cloud, still coming down. Gets heavy at times, but mostly a steady drop, moderate winds.
big g
March 1, 2007 at 9:26 pm #543480I’ve got the worse commute.
1.5 miles from office to driveway. Sometimes I even have to stop at a stop light.
March 1, 2007 at 10:13 pm #543507I left St Paul at 11:30AM. glad I did. I’ve been blowing snow ever since. We gotta be getting close to an inch an hour here in Hudson.
March 1, 2007 at 10:13 pm #543508In the last half hour, I saw 4 vehicles slide through the stop sign in front of my house and one made it all the way into the ditch in front of my house, slow down out there and be carefull out there.
March 2, 2007 at 1:07 am #543600If you want to watch some close calls sometime find a busy four way intersection with stop lights during a snow storm with slippery roads. Find a good vantage point and sit back and count all the close calls it makes for some good entertainment.

March 2, 2007 at 1:08 am #543601We closed Gander in Duluth at 5PM today. 40+ mph winds and gusting to 60+! Forcast for upwards of 20 inches or more total! Winds are blowing off a frozen lake superior! Hwy 61 is closed. Haven’t seen one like this in a long time! Kind of cool!

NO you don’t….I only have 4 blocks and that is with 2 stoplights
March 2, 2007 at 1:42 am #543625We have about 8 inches in St Croix Beach. No wind.
But my commute to the mailbox took an extra five minutes today. Very frustrating…no mail.
Steve, I haven’t seen a 20″ down fall of snow since the ’70’s.
March 2, 2007 at 1:50 am #543637Brian head down to Winona they have 28″ on the ground

March 2, 2007 at 2:33 am #543659I can’t tell how much we are getting in the NW corner of the cities. It’s blowing around so much, tough to tell.
March 2, 2007 at 3:11 am #543696About 50 degrees and partly cloudy here in silicon valley. Just clean up the runways and get the roads plowed before Saturday so I can get home.
