Good question with a wide range of answers. There are a lot of different ways to fish them. Most likely you need to look at what you are targeting, where the fish are and what the conditions may be. Then work out a presentation. What most guys on the river do for walleyes is either pitch them or vertical jig them on jigs. What types of areas area you looking to target?

They dont work in the lakes.

Check out the post “do ringworms work on lakes”. Anything said about ringworm should go for K grubs also.

I fish them quite a bit on a lake up in NE sconni. Best luck I have had is used as a tail on a beattle spin rig or slowly reeled over young weed beds in the spring. Snot rockets love em too!

On Turtle Lake last summer the perch and bass simply inhaled these K-grubs. Just swim them slowly over the tops of weedbeds.

    The hits are quite aggressive.

Sure is fun! The white bass here on the miss love them fish the same way. I am always amazed by how a white bass can inhale that whole thing in a split second. I usually use a 1/8 oz head and seems to work great in 2-8 fow!
