going to jacksonville area in about 3 weeks, for 5 days, would like to do some fishing, looks like i have many options from pier fishing, boat rentals, charter boat rentals,or individual guided trips(which most are out of my price range )the charter boats dont look to bad at 50-75 for 4-6 hour trips, and found a place where you can rent a boat for 95 dollars a day,has anyone gone to this area, and can offer me any advise on what they did?dont think i want to try bring my own equipement, but found some bait stores that rent equipment, maybe pack some of my own tackle even though i dont know how much of what i have would be usefull down there, any help/advise would be great ,thanks

charter boats are the way to go. dont have to do anything but bait your own hook. Sure you wont get into many big fish but its cheap and fun just being in the ocean.
