Yep, the wife is watching that crap as well. Sure glad I have a computer and another t.v. to watch
Oh good god, I was just about to say how good some of the ladies look tonight in HD…..then all the sudden there is some crap on a big screen telling me to reduce carbon emissions and raise fuel economy and some “dude” singing about it

along for the ride also. this is a much better way to spend an evening
Sorry guys,, Drag Racing Rules in this, and a awsome show it wastoo
None of you must have cable I take it, or I know you would have been watching Espn2 from 9pm-11pm with day 3 of the Bassmaster Classic. Too bad they show 3-4 highlights of someone catching fish, then the two stooges in the studio talk for a minute or so, throw in a special feature on an angler for 1-2 mins, and then we get to watch the same freakin Purolator commercial every single commercial break. You can tell how much sponsorships and $ play in to it all, cause I saw the Purolator commercial more than I saw fish caught. If it wasn’t winter and my other choice the oscars, I wouldn’t have even watched it due to the amount of commercials and lack of fishing highlights, but still pretty interesting to see Terry McWilliams from the federation nation place in the top 5 and then Boyd Duckett land that 6 lber with 20 mins left to win it.
I am sorry you fellas feel that way. The TV business is my wifes area of work. She won an emmy this last fall and it has turned our lives around. I may even get to retire and be a fulltime stay at home dad. SO keep bringing the Movies and commercials are what make the tv tick. But on a side note I wish I could just watch the show I am looking at and be done with it too.
Yep, I watched the Classics as well. But most of it was a repeat since I watched it online live earlier in the day. There was a little more coverage on the show, but not much more.
The only thing they are good for is falling asleep. I was out on the couch by 9:00 last night.
I use them as a gauge, whatever movie gets very high reviews from “those people”, I do not see it
Instead of watching a show about movies, I decided to watch a movie. I guess I am weird like that.
However, I would say this, just give every award to Jessica Beil.
I guess Al Gore’s documentary won an Oscar. I didn’t see that one coming.

Did anyone notice how Mel Gibson’s Apocolypto got the shaft last night? I didn’t see that one coming… The only word I could think of during the 30 minutes I watched last night was “pompous”. I also loved how about 1/5 of the show was people accepting their awards in another language. I wouldn’t be surprised if Leo DiCaprio and Al Gore went back stage and made out after their constant compliments for one another were cut short by that annoying music they play which means “shut up and get off the stage!”

I dont care who you are thats funny!
In most cases, I couldn’t care less about awards ceremonies but for anyone who saw “The Pursuit of Happyness”, I think an award should be handed out for even making a movie like that. Did Will Smith win? Does anyone know? I just thought he did a great job showing the value of a man dedicated to his family’s future.
