Was wondering if anybody used this line for pulling cranks? If so what lb test do you use? Also how close is it in line diameter to other similar lb test lines. Will the precision trolling book work for dive curves. Any help would be great as I said was thinking of using some for trolling and maybe even for bottom bouncing. Thanks

I us it for my leaders when I’m pulling lead. I use 10lb & 20 ft leaders.

I have been using the Cajun Red for a couple years. There are two types available that I use. One is the CAJUN RED CAST. This is better used in your spinning reel applications. The other is the CAJUN RED ADVANTAGE. This is the line I use for trolling applications on levelwind reels (like linecounters etc.)I also use this stuff for making my crawler harnesses for fishing on the great lakes. 12lb test Advantage matches the dive curves in the “Precision Trolling Guide” very close. I have found the Cajun Line to be very strong. Personally I love the stuff. And the price is right.

I work for Mills Fleet Farm and I can tell you that this stuff sells almost as well as anything else on the pegs. Many a fisherman have voiced a positive comment or two regarding it. When it’s time for me to respool, I think I’m going to try some of this as well. Too many happy guys not to……..

I have used it on some spinning reels and it seems to work great. A buddy of mine has it on some trolling reels and I have really been impressed with the strength. When it is time to re-spool my trolling reels i am going to try some on them this year
