After reading a post today and quietly laughing to myself

I decided to list my favorite quote of the week for the last two weeks on FTR. I was inspired by two FTR regulars. The first was last week from Ferny when he mentioned “boatloads of little people” (Rivereye’s response of “facinating” was perfect) and this week from Jon J when he references “slinging a good scoop of fats”. It cracks me up just writing this. Oh well, what else is there to do sitting here at work.

Yeah…that’s a good one. If you can’t scoop a good sling of fats, pass the scoop I say. That cracked me up also.

I’m partial to the tagline (can’t remember whose it is) “Life’s to short to fish with dead minnows”. I smile each time I read it.

    Dave,
That tagline took hours to come up with. Actually, though, it’s a truth. Isn’t that what the best lines are about?

    Anyone up for some fishing?

I liked the one that went something like….”It’s better to be on the river thinking about God, than to be in church thinking about fishing”.
