Clearance

    Well guys, I am down here in SE SD at college and I am looking to stock up on some ice fishing equipment of my own since my dad and brother wouldn’t like it if I took their’s. I am about 30 minutes from a big sports store and can’t really drive there all the time to check on stuff. My question to you is when does Scheels usually put stuff on clearance for the season. I am just looking to find some rods and stuff like that…odds and ends.

    One of the guys at a Iowa City Store said when the ice starts melting, hmm might be soon for Iowa.

    I am sure there is a Wal-Mart near by you, I would give them a shot. Their clearances are usually a little more extreme than the big spoting good stores.

    I have checked at Wal-mart here and they are down to nearly nothing. The weird thing is that at home (Spencer, IA) Wal-mart had Bait Pucks down to 3 bucks and here they are clearanced for 5 bucks…thought they would be the same. Does anyone have an idea when they would start clearance. I am gonna take the gf to eat in Sioux City tomorrow night so I will take a look then.

    If you happen to be going through Sioux Falls the Ace Hardware on 12th street has some really good sales at times. It is kind of hit and miss but worth the stop if you are in the area.
