any idea where I can get a new gas cap for my eskimo? I tried Gander but was told they only stock ice fishing stuff during ice fishing season . Also tried to match up something from fleet farm. any ideas for a fix before the weekend? D.

Try calling Thorne Bros, they might have one, I got my gas cap for my jiffy there.

Try a small engine repair shop. If they don’t have one they can order one for you.

I have had all my work on my Eskimo done at D Rock in new brighton. including gas cap. maybe call there if it is to far and see if he can give you the part number or get you to someone who has one in your area.

Can’t help you by this weekend, but let me know if you want me to pick you one up this weekend. I have a cabin in Cumberland, Wi. (Ardisam’s HQ). They have a store (Country Store) that repairs Eskimo’s and has gas caps. I’ll be going up tomorrow but won’t be coming home until Sunday. I work in Eagan and could get it to you early next week. Let me know if your interested. Otherwise here is a link to Ardisam. If you search for gas cap, you should be able to order on-line. Not sure if you could get it sent priority by this weekend though. Otherwise you could try calling them. Good luck. I’ve had to replace my gas cap a couple times too (leaked). How hard can it be to invent a stupid gas cap that won’t leak?

I agree with the small engine place. I had to get a new gas line and cap for my Eskimo, and Rosemount Saw and Tool had them. Try the the place that sells mowers over on 13 and 101.
