I own furniture store in Burnsville, I have a lot of Foam polystirene packing that goes right in to the landfill.
Does anyone know of some where that recycles foam packing?
It seems such a waset to put this product in the landfill.

You could always burn it????? That will get rid of it!

    Ok, sorry……just joking.

Are you sure it is polystirene too? I know a few years back, many companies were at the time, converting to an organic “peanut” that would decompose.

That is a good idea, e-bay sellers would jump all over it.

Check with an ebay store in your area. I’m sure they would take it. I save mine from work in garbage bags and use it when I ebay.

I own a garbage collection service and to my knowledge there isn’t a program for recycling that type of foam yet, the only thing that I can think of is to check with like a UPS store or something like that and see if they could use it for packaging.

How does it taste? You could put some cheese flavoring on it and call them Cheetos

I always thought that stuff could be run through a chipper shredder outfit and used for blown in inulation but there must be something wrong with it or it would have been done already
