Edit to add text in photo:

Air Force Chief Master Sgt. John Gebhardt, of the 332 Expeditionary Medical Groupe at Balad, Iraq, cradles a young girl as the both sleep in the hospital. The girl’s entire family was executed by insurgents; the killers shot her in the head as well. The girl received treatment at the US military hospital in Balad, but cries and moans often. According to nurses at the facility, Gebhardt is the only one who can clam the girl, so he has spent the last several nights holding her while they both sleep.

    Got this one recently too…

Thanks for sharing, My 5 yr old daughter and I watched it about 10 times yesterday, she had a lot of questions that needed answers. She even said this morning that she wanted to watch it again when she got home today.

Thanks for posting. It is easy to forget about a war so far away, so I need these reminders from time to time. I am sure plenty of our soldiers are wishing they could be out fishing right now.
