Adjustable driver position boat seats

    I noticed at the boat show that all the manufacturers are putting an adjustable jack plate under the driver position seats so you can move the seat forewards or backwards. Does anyone know if these jack plates are available for purchase to bolt on to older boat seats? And where would a person get one?

    My Alumacraft boat came with one with the drivers seat. I put a Smooth Moves Seat Mount in place of the drivers seat and used the slider for my seat where I run my kicker. The seat base I’m talking about is on the back platform in the middle. With the slider all the way forward it places me closer to the kicker motor handle. The pedistal itself was replaced with a short one and I had some of that cut off to give the seat the correct height that I wanted for the seat. Just another way of using the slider.

    That is exactly what I was looking for. Just saw the smooth moves seat link in your post. I will check that out also. Now I have something else to spend my Cabela’s bucks on!!
