Headed up there this weekend and have never fished it. By looking at my Lakemaster disk it really looks interesting. Chasing Crappies and eyes’. Any advise from any IDA’ers would be greatly appreciated…RR

I have never fished it in the Winter RR. There are some Nice Slabs in there. The shallow water is full of weeds in the summer. Locate the rock structure with adjacent deep water on the main basin would be my suggestion. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

If you have time go check out Blackduck Lake, Elephant or Myrtle as well. Bob and I used to go up there every year for the walleyes and gils. Blackduck has some unbelievable structure as does Elephant, Myrtle is kind of a soup bowl but has some really nice gils. PM me if you want ideas for where to fish.

I have fished it 1st week of June and had great luck with smallies. There are a couple of reefs that come up to about a ft deep and then drop off to about 15 ft. Those should be good. We caught some nice crappies in June some aroung 14 to 16 inchers. But you can only keep seven crappies a day. Good Luck
