I have been out on the water 9 times so far this year, and not once has the wind been under 20 miles per hour. I was fortunate enough to be on Lake Erie during the pwt – Yes, I was out in 8-10 foot waves, scared to death, just hoping to make it back to shore. I was also fortunate enough to spend opening weekend on Leech lake, with the winds pushing 30-35 mph on Sunday. Anyway, all this got me to thinking I need to change my name on the board to Mr. Breeze.

The question is – how do i do it? I went to edit my profile and did not see where i can change my name. Can anybody help a poor windblown fisherman out?

    Thanks,
    Mr. Breeze

Hey Mr. Breeze, I believe you will have to start [open] a new account so to speak. In other words, you will need to register again but user name being Mr. Breeze. When Nate and I started to post under our own names, for EFN reasons, instead of under walleyeboys, we had to open a new account [register again under new name]. Thanks, Bill

With a name like “Mr. Breeze”, you’re not going to be like, the arch enemy of “Mr. Twister” are you?

I won’t be looking for a fight with him – but he better be careful of my walleye chop!!

Well, I had registered on Fish the Lake back in the fall of 01 and had a bunch of posts to my “credit.” When things sort of got combined here a couple months ago, I lost my FTL data and it was replaced with my FTR login (which I registered much later and wasn’t nearly as active on). So… I am a tender new-be all over again

For your situation, starting over is likely the only option. That is pretty standard on sites like this. You usually can’t just change your “handle.” You have to re-register instead.

so there… Mr Breeze… will you have a new photo as well? sounds kind of super hero-ish… maybe you should be THE Breeze… or just Breeze….. but now that you mention it Walleye Chop sounds pretty darn good too…. still I think your gonna be seriously out MoJo’ed by Mr Twister… Walleye Chop or no…. unless you call your bigger brother… Harry Can….. (Pronounced Hurri Cane!) that oughta take the “wind” from his sails……(or is that sales?? )

As you can see, you’re now Mr. Breeze. Sorry it took me so long to get to this… but I found a way to do it, update all your posts and not force a re-register. It was there right under my nose the whole time…. duh.
