2001 Upper Mississippi River Navigational Charts

Last weekend the wife went to a boaters saftey class that was given by both the Illinois DNR and the Army Corp of Engineers. I had been saying for awhile that my river map is getting pretty tattered from use. Well the little woman bought me a new one at this class at the cost of 30$. It’s not at all like my old one, I believe it’s from the early or mid 80,s. This new map does not have all the back water’s marked. It’s a good map for navigational purpose’s, but not worth a hoot for finding back water area’s that you have never fished before . I wish I could find one like the old one.

This is what I have been using for years for the Mississippi River. No contours, but plenty of navigational info.
