I was wondering from all you hardcore ice-guys out there, if you think that the FL-20 is worth the extra mooola. I have the opportunity to buy a barely used one for $390. It has the 12 deg ice ducer. Its a pro pack II. Sounds like its a good deal to me, what do you think?

    Thanks in advance.

Once you use the flat screen, you’ll be glad you got it.

This was my first full winter with the FL-20. I can’t say enough about it. The targets on the big screen are so easy to read. No guessing on what targets are fish or bait.

I was helping a friend fine tune his FL-18 last month on Mille lacs, this is when I realized how much difference there is when using the flat screen on the FL-20.

    Thanks Derek!

What do you think of the price. I wasn’t planning on spending $400 right now, but I’ll make some adjustments if its a great price.

I had heard a mixed report on the ability to see the flat screen in the direct sunlight, unsure I guess, sounds like a good price though. good luck

The flatscreen is a very nice feature. I have used it in the sunlight, and was able to see the screen just fine. The day setting on that unit is very bright.
