That is a tough call. I could see the Colts winning by 20. I could also see the Bears winning by a bunch. If the Colts can shut down the run like they did against Balt they should take control of the game. Another question is can they hold onto the ball. Only time will tell.
The only bet on the game I would be comfortable with is taking the over (48.5).

I don’t have the slightest idea. I’ll try the Bears.

I know the Vikings will not win for sure…. other than that, I have to agree with Manning over Grossman.

    Colts!

If the Colts get a lead, there is no way Chicago can play “catch up” with them. They’re running game won’t score enough to “catch up” and they don’t have enough of a passing game to survive, especially when the pressure is on Rex “The Hex” Grossman!! The Colt offense will score plenty of points, and their defense is plenty strong enough to control the Bears average offense.

I doubt it will even be close!

Payton Manning will get used of tasting turf with broken ribs really early into the first quarter.

ok now tell me why someone deserves it? why not Grossman he did win 15 games with his team this season. So why doesnt he deserve it? That is the way a fan from another team (that doesnt like the bears) would say since his team isn’t there. Had to go back and look I see where you are from packer backer.

Two defensive teams means it could be a low-scoring defensive battle. I’d like to see the Bears win it but the Colts have the edge offensively with the much better QB and running game. If Grossman can keep from turning the ball over then the game will be close. If he has a game like he did in the last regular season game against the great and powerful Green Bay Packers then Chicago is in for a long day. I think Grossman is due for a better than average performance. I’ll say 17 to 14 Bears.

The Colts offense hasn’t shown up in the playoffs…while the Bears Offense rolled up 39 points against the Saints who had a lot better numbers than Indy on the year.

The Bears will also score deep as there is no one in the Colt secondary that matches Berrians speed nor MuHammeds…size. Rex CAN and WILL throw deep on the Colts.

    Thank you for the Amen…
I’m sure it will be an exciting game…Chicago is very hungry and I think the “underdog” role right now put all the pressure squarely on Manning and the Colts…who has not responded well in the past in pressure situations… being down 21-3 against the NE defense is not the same as being 21-3 down to Urlacher and crew.

The colts defense has destroyed every opponent who has depended on the run. Chicago is one of those teams. The ONLY way the bears are gonna win will be because of Grossmans arm, and lets face it, there aint much there…

I just can’t stand that cry baby, whining, blame it on the linemen, Peyton Manning. I sure hope he gets knocked on his . If the Bears fall behind early, they’ll be in trouble. I’ll be rooting for the Bears.

thats funny that there isn’t any there but he did pass for alot of yards this year. I guess it helped them all the way to the superbowl further than the vikings that is for sure. Also they are as far as the vikings have ever gotten right now and they haven’t played the game sunday yet.

nope i am just saying bears by 4 it is going to be a close game. If the colts win it will be on the foot of the kicker because manning has not showed me anything this post season.

What are you laughing about, the Vikings have been there twice as many times as your Bears, and they haven’t been there in over 25 years.

This is only your 2nd trip to the show, and this is S.B. 41 .

My pick is that the commercials will be better than the game. I predict a blowout, but I don’t know by which team yet!

Two defensive teams? I thought the Bears were playing the Colts? When did the Colts become a “defensive team”? They had 2-3 games this year that the other teams offense looked so poor it made the Colts D look good and 2 of those came in the playoffs.

Something to remember. The Colts have given up over 100 yards rushing in EVERY game this year so far. They are ranked near dead last in special teams return coverage. If both teams are able to play to their strengths expectto see the Bears Devon Hester giving the O great field position for the one two punch of Benson and Jones. Add to that Briggs and his 12 rookie sacks, UberLacher and his 5 billion tackles, and Vasher and his interceptions and I think we are set to have a game that is much closer than a lot feel it will be. Truth is no one will know or can accuratly guess the outcome of until it is over. All I can say is Go Bears!

i am going to 14-12 bears, I feelt hat they want it more than the colts, manning is making millions on commercials and don’t really need a bonus for winning the big game other than run in eli’s face that he won the big trophey. i have a hard time believing that the colts D is going to stop the bears at all. it will come down to payton trying to win the game on his arm, they will abandon the running game and become a shoot-out, and that is to get the 12 points. i wish the colt would win, have a feeling it will be the bears.

Colts D was HORRIBLE vs the run this year. 2 playoff games at home on turf doesnt make me a believer. In Miami they will be on grass and the Bears should be able to move the ball. I also think that the Colts will move vs a Bears D that is not as good as billed. IF the Bears can get a few strips or INTs, they will win. If the Colts play error free, they will win.

BTW, I was just in LV and put a bet on. The Colts by 7 seemed a bit steep, so I was going to bet the money line-straight up, no odds, the Bears $100 bet wins $280 ($180 profit). Then I saw that if you actually give 3.5 points and take the Bears, you get $380 on a $100 bet ($280 profit). It is a longer shot, but it seemed to have the best value.

    Go Bears!

Da Bears!!!! I’m glad the Colts are playing instead of the Brady Bunch, but the NFC needs to make a come back and start winning some super Bowls.
