16-0 or 8-8 meaning nothing if you dont bring home the ring is insane. yes the ring is the ultimate prize but records do mean something. i have never seen a 16-0 coach be fired but i have seen an 8-8 coach be fired. and i dont think a fans measure of success for his team would be the same for an 8-8 and a 16-0 team. hardware? he has already won a division and conference title in his first full year of starting. not too many qbs if any have went to the superbowl in their first year. next year? brown and harris come back rex has more experience look out

I’d be happier than a pig in slop to have the Bears and Packers dominate the big game for the next several years or so. They could take turns keeping the Vikings in the cheap seats!

My point about calling a lost Super Bowl a wasted season comes from this. Having kids I couldn’t imagine telling my son that his entire season of baseball was wasted because they didn’t win the championship. Imagine telling your 8 year old that, because they didn’t win it all, they were wasting their time and everything they did was a waste. Personally I don’t see what difference it makes in the size or age of the “kid”. Even though NFL players make a ton of dough, the really good ones are still able to cry over a loss. Those are the ones that are most times the funnest to watch.

    Go Bears!

How far did that team get in 1998????? For sure didn’t win a superbowl because they have 0 wins in the superbowl just losses

Just as many rings as the Cubs..

The cubs have won a world series it was back like 1918 way before i was born but hey it is still more than the choking queens.

How did a game between the Bears and the Colts get to become about the Vikings. Last time I looked they weren’t playing this weekend.
It does no good to compare the Bears to the Vikes anymore this season. All that matters is how they compare to the Colts.
