Directions to hunter’s pt. ??

I am looking for directions to Hunters point. We are heading up Wed afternoon. We are coming from Eau Claire wi and it looks like we are heading up 35. What’s the best way from there. I looked at mapquest, but looking for your ideas. Thanks,

I start heading west at the Hinckley exit.
Use mapquest from there.

That is what mapquest shows me as the quickest way
from St. Paul. (Hinckley exit)

From 35 you could head over to hyw-65 via the Hinkley exit and then take 65 to hyw-18 west which will run right to the Lake and then you would go North on 47 to Hunters.

Thanks, is there a bait shop on the path close to Hunters? I need to get a portable license.

Taking 35N to 18 in Finlayson, and heading straight West is a good road. Better than 3 out of Hinckley, and just as fast. It dead ends at Mille Lacs/HWY 47. Take a right, go 3 miles, and you are there!
