This summer we, Wife and I, will be vacationing in Eagle River. I would like to stay at a resort on Lac View Desert. Somewhere I can launch our boat one time, then “dock” it each evening, preferably near our cabin/lodging. Need not have cooking facilities as She will prefer to do the restaurant thing. She will be on vacation too she says. Guess thats fair!!!!!!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

We have been up there many times over the years. The last few times we stayed at Sunrise Lodge. It has top notch accommodations. The staff is friendly, launching and docking the boat is easy and they go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. The casino is close as well if you like to play blackjack or the slots. Here is the info.

I’ll second that recommendation for Sunset Lodge….I think. That’s the place with the cool old log lodge, right? Cabins are yellow, I think. I’ve stayed at two resorts right next to each other and forget which one is which.

Stayed at sunrise lodge last year and doing it again this year with my wife and toddler. OUTSTANDING place. Great food, and great people. Sunrise lodge does not have a boat launch but they had a staff person ride with me to a public launch and I drove my boat to the lodge while the person took the truck and trailer back. Pretty cool. This place it set up for families and is very well kept.

The hard part is getting a cabin there as it is booked up fast.

    Give them a call.

If you want other information message me.
