Growing up as a kid it was a treat to always go to cabelas. I flew in from milaca to owatonna with my uncles just to shop there. I think if they build to many stores they will just turn into a everyday store.

It appears the search has turned a little more south.

Funny you should say that. Today I went to the Rogers store, which I live 20 min from. I didn’t spend a dime there!! I had that whoopiddy dooo feeling! The thrill has officialy worn off. I’ll still make my trips there when I need something as it’s a great store that has everything. But…the thrill IS gone for me.

Did you know that the Gander in Duluth/Hermantown area is the biggest Gander Mountain in sales company wide…

I think a Cabelas would go good right in Cloquet on the 35 and 53 split!!!

    I agree with Cal,

However I think it is the 35 and 33 split right before you come into Cloquet. However, the Carlton exit may not be bad either as thier is a Casino there already and one would think they would draw off each other.

I know they plan to keep growing. I think it is 8 stores this year after 4 last year. They are keeping me busy and I love it! I’ll be back at Rogers this weekend. Call, swing by and I’ll get ya some goodies.
