First off thanks for looking at this post. I will be renting a cabin on shore at Hunters Pt. from the 31st through the weekend. I will be asking George where to go as far as fishing spots but I was hoping to get a little more advice from my fellow IDA folks. I bought a Lakemaster paper map and maybe getting an H20C to help, but I have an etrex as far as GPS goes. We really aren’t looking at taking any fish home but would like to catch some of the BIG eyes we have been reading about on the forum. We are set with tackle and equipment. If you guys could help with a few locations to try that have worked for you I would really appreciate it. If you don’t want to give out your best spot I understand. Please reply or PM me. Thanks

If you have the H20C w/ lakemaster your set!
I would look at the flats. Find a good transition area and start there. If that don’t work, move on top of the flat, then to the deeper edges. You will Find them if they are there. And they have been, stay on the move. Be sure and let us know how you do. I know a bunch of IDA’ers are there again this weekend, so watch that report page Monday.

I don’t have the H2O yet. I might not have it in time. I do have a Garmin Etrex without mapping.
