You could make boots, a belt, a hat band hell you could make pants out of that thing.

I believe the 9′ part but if that thing is 97lbs, he is mighty strong. You wouldnt be able to do that w/ a 97lb deer …RR

If that snake weighs 97 pounds that guy is a strong dude. Holding 97 pounds at your chest for a picture and holding a smile is hard enough. Take that 97 pounds and put it out on the end of a 4 – 5 foot long pole and hold it for a photo with a smile on your face?

I’m not saying that weight on that snake is bogus… just that if it is that guy makes that little physical feat look easy.

I’m with you on that. The fact that it’s 9′ is obvious, but 97 lbs is certainly pushing the envelope. Doesn’t matter though, I still wouldn’t want to take a hit from that beast.

Ya, the weight probably is probably exaggerated, maybe 65-70 pounds. If I crossed paths with that thing in the woods, I would be running a 4.3 second 40 yard dash.

I’ll bet it is closer to 30 or 40 pounds at best. Still alot of snake hide to get creative.

you can do your own math on it………The “grabber” is about 0.5″ wide……..1.0″ MAX width.

That gives the girth a maximum of 4″ across the back.

I’ll give the snake probably 6’………which factual data states that is all the bigger they get (a diamondback that is).

either way it makes my skin crawl!!!

I hate these things, anything that can move that fast on land without feet is just wrong.

You bet when it comes to snakes (don’t care what kind) I scream like a little girl.

    I am with ya Gary!

It is big but I do not think it is that big. The snake is much closer to the camera than the man so the size is hard to prove.
