Just wondering if anyone has read the Lindner’s book “First light on the water”. I’m taking an introduction to world religion class and we are required to read a religious themed booked aside from our text. I figured that one may be a good choice since there is some fishing mixed in with the religion. Wanted to get some opinions on the book before I bought it.

    Thanks.

Great book. I have read it a couple of times and my wife has also read it.

Even if it wasn’t for a class, it’s a good read for everyone.

I bought the book but have not got around to reading it yet, I think Derek has read it as well.

Good read , for all the Lindner’s have been through , and all the fame and noteriety the have recieved , they are one of the few true “class acts” out there in the angling world today. They are honest in the book as in life. They also have one of the best shows on tv! – My 2 cents

Yes a great read, but also the Nisswa Guides League book is just awesome also. It was written by Ray Gildow who still guides in Brainerd.
