Looked and counldn’t find a recent post on the Badger Mens B-Ball team. Thought they deserved a shout out . If the Gophers were 18-1 we would hear it non-stop They had a closer one today in a tough place to win, and 15 in a row is impressive . Bucky has depth at all positions, and plenty of experience. They should do very well come March Madness if they can stay healthy. Come on Badger fans, let’s hear it!

Yes it is cool having the Badgers this good, though I must admit being from Milwaukee area originally I am an equally proud Marquette WARRIORS fan first, still remember watching Al Maguire winning the Championship in ’77 when I was just a kid. Bucky could be eyeing up a #1 seed in the big tourney this year. Go Bucky. PS Wisconsin is the colledge hockey champions right now, correct?

Am I wrong or have you had a bit too much today. I love the Badger Basketball Team, but their hockey team has been strugging and Minnesota is doing great.

I turned on the game with less than a minute left. Man that can take a while to get the game over with. Lots of fouls helped us out in the end.

I was mistaken on the hockey records, and apologize. I had searched big 10 hockey standings, and took the page it gave at face value (it gave me the b-ball page ). Told you I’m not a hockey fan . Better stick to the b-ball and football…………Hey speaking of football …………….ok not gonna go there.

After making the big dance the last five years, I think the Badgers have their best team yet. Couple of hard road games coming up soon that will tell alot also. Anyways, again “Go Bucky”

i’ll give the hoop badgers the credit they deserve so far. illinois was up 3 with a couple of minutes left but it was obvious who the better team was down the stretch.
badgers have a good mix of a star in tucker, other veterans, young talent, height, etc.
it was the first time they had won at illinois in about 10 years.

I am just a pure HOCKEY loving fan. Lucky for me I grew up in the state of MN and to make it even better we have the best college hockey program in the nation.

Alright, I have been checking into this site for awhile now. Lots of great info, and now you touch on a topic that I actually know more about than fishing. Yes the “U” is the elite program but the Badgers still have to be beaten and they do have a goalie that can change any game he plays in.

On another note, I want to thank all of you for the updates and postings that make this site so enjoyable. Also thanks to Dean down at Everts, he is everything and more that people talk about.

Badgers are having a great season so far, but I am not getting my hopes up too high. I would hate to be as disappointed as last years Gopher hockey fans had to be.

Hardly a 100% hockey fan, but we get some Minnesota games here in SE Wisconsin and they look great. As an aside when you get to the High School level Minnesota has it nailed down versus Wisconsin. There is a high difference between the programs and a much greater interest among the Minnesota fans, so the Gophers should be the team to beat every year. Only thing I have noticed is half the kids on the Badger team are from Minnesota.

Better count again, out of the 26 man roster I only see 4 Minnesotans.
