All right, I’m not here to whine and complain…..ok, maybe I am. But check this out, in the last 12 hours, my car has: had the serp belt fly off going down the road. Car overheats, I’m stuck 10 miles from home on the way home from work at 6am in 2 friggin degrees. But I have a wrench, new serp belt, and pipe in the car just for this purpose, so I can solve the problem, right? Wrong. Can’t get the hood open. Froze shut. I call and wake the girlfriend up ON OUR ANNIVERSARY, and she comes and gets me and brings me home.
Today, the right headlight assembly is broken, so I try to put in new ones. Can’t get the thing in to save my life, plus it doesn’t help that I don’t really know what I’m doing. My boss is a mechanic, so I’ll have to hit him up at work. So I go to close the hood….it won’t lock. I pull the hood release inside the car. It pulls out completely. Maybe this is why it wouldn’t open the last couple of days, and especially this morning.

Did I mention that my transmission in my truck finally roasted today, too????

All I know is this is one impressive stretch of 12 hours. I don’t know that you could beat it if you tried!

ok, I will give you a run for your money,

I have a part time job working for the city of blaine, I started at noon, I got to the first rink, someone had drove a car through the hockey boards, so that had alot of phone calls that needed to be made, now here is the kicker, I am the only one in charge, the boss man was out for the day, so no one to call and get advice from, so from there and spending an hour there waiting for the police and public works, I got to move onto the next warming house. when I got to that one, the warming house supervisor didn’t show up, so had to open and wait another hour for him to show up. got to the 3rd rink, had an accident report filed, kid ended up breaking his nose while playing hockey and had blood everywhere. the last warming house that I had to get to was the same as the 2nd, no one showed up, so I opened and worked until 7. while I was out and about at the rinks, my cell phone got turned off, it started to snow, so that meant that I have to work, went and got a bobcat and plow for my work truck. went to leave at 2 a.m. the plow wouldn’t lift up or nothing, ended up mising 1 1/2 messing with that plow, finally pushed it up into the driveway and dropped it, went to work, then while pulling bobcat around through the night, hit a patch of glare ice and jacknifed the truck and trailer and pushed in a fender on the work truck, then broke a bolt on the bobcat. my day went on from there, but that about covered the 12 hour period.

    How about this?

Yesterday I planned on waking up early and going fishing however my first mistake was the I set the alarm clock for 5pm instead of 5am. so woke up at 7;30am too late to head out because it was my step-daughters B-day. So I went to the bank and made a depostit then went to walmart to pick up the cupcakes for her B-day treat at school I ordered the day before well they weren’t done because the person that took the order screwed it up and the people that had to make it didnt understand it. No problem I had to run and get a b-day present from MC Sports down the road. I get what I need from MC Sports get to the checkout and no check book and no cash So I run all the way across town back to the bank get some money and go back to MC sports. I am running very short on time as I need to have the cupcakes there before lunch. After MC sports I go back to walmart they screwed up the order but it was to late I had to take it. I went up to the register the the lady rung it up and I asked her for a pen (found the check book coat pocket) she said “nope someone took mine you will have to use your own”.
Now I am mad I have less than 15 min to get there and I have to get by cashierzilla first. So I look around and see the manager dude kinda wandering around so I called him over and asked if he had a pen. Well after he got there with a pen ofcourse the cashier was a perfect princess. Anyway I got the cupcakes there late and some of kids missed half of their recess waiting for me.
