Uh, the game was in San Diego!
Just givin ya crap….ya, what a game. I run a playoff bracket every year, like the NCAA Final Four bracket (oh crap, I said ‘final four’….I owe somebody something), and mine isn’t looking too good now because of the SD loss. It’ll be the first time in history that the AFC champ game will be contested in a dome, so it could be interesting. I would think that Indy should come out on top…..but ya never know these days. I have NO idea how next weekend will go….but I can’t wait to watch!!
January 15, 2007 at 2:33 am #522740The AFC championship game is going to be crap, I would hate to see Indy win because i can’t stand Payton manning and the patriots have been to the super bowl way to many times in the last 10 years. what ever the result i am hoping New Orlean’s beats the bears and wins the super bowl.
Theres my .04 on the matterJanuary 15, 2007 at 2:58 am #522756New England comes to play when it really counts. My guess is they’ll the going to the dance.

January 15, 2007 at 6:25 pm #523008GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully the pats and bears in the superbowl. Grossman had the best stats out of all the remaning 4 teams left in the playoffs. Manning this weekend was a JOKE!!!!!!!!!! The bears and saints game will be a good one. Saints best offense but they have to deal with playing outside in the cold and poss. snow this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO BEARS!!!!!!!!

I gotta give credit where it is due. I said the Bears would be one and done in the playoffs. Obviously they were not. I did not watch the game but by the box score it looks like they played a good, conservative, well rounded game. It seems they did not make all the mistakes they have been making.
Who knows if they play like that next weekend they may be in the dance……..Ouch, that kinda hurt.January 16, 2007 at 2:54 am #523289gator hunter, thanks for stepping up to the plate and claiming you were incorrect about they would be one and out everyone else i know will either ignore the thread or say luck or some other excuse.
January 16, 2007 at 3:36 am #523312I also said one and done. They won, now onto New Orleans. They will have a chance in that game also.
I will say you are the only person I have seen wishing for New England. Kinda confirms my belief on the sanity of Bears fans. If I’m the Bears, New England is the LAST team I want to see.
January 16, 2007 at 5:09 am #523341They played NE once already this year and lost by 4 in NE so with a neutral playing zone if they both make it to Miami it would be a good game!!!!!!!!!!!
January 16, 2007 at 3:40 pm #523432i dont care who shows up from the afc for the super bowl.
lets beat the saints and worry about that later.
the saints will put some points on the board – they got a lot of weapons – but if the bears pound the saints with the run and bad rex doesnt make an appearance, its on to miami
