It is cool to watch the ANG F16’s take off out of Duluth
We had a cabin up by Jacobson MN the ANG use to fly over, one Jan they came over low enough to blow the snow a big pine tree, did not see it coming until it was on top of us
Jack cool stuff !!! I am looking for a picture of either a F-15 or 14 that is so low to the water it is making a rooster tail . Can you help me find this picture ? Thanks Tom
Im looking for one so low to the water it looks like a torpedo wake and a shark fin! and is breaking the sound barrier UNDER water!.. where sound travels…. what… 4 times faster? ok.. so cool but impossible.. ah well… I watched that first one.. what a variety of old planes… stuff Ive not seen in service for quite a while… but then I guess I dont often see shots of foreign air forces…. hard to imagine they are flying migs too!.. but I guess when the ussr broke up they were selling them bargain basement.. some private owners actually bought them!… crazy at that sounds…. how would you like to have your OWN mig? lol…. they were made on the cheap…. not very high tech.. but great performance….. but thats why our stuff could take em on 5 to one or better…. I guess they even resorted to putting fuzz busters in them to see if they were on radar!… lol.. thats pretty funny….
my friend Steve B. who is a member sent it to me when I told him you were looking for it…
Couldn’t you see your self rigging the Mud Flats up on Mille Lacs, and look up and see this coming at you, at say Mach 1. Sure is a great pic, or might be a drawing…
