This is for a different “Bullet”, it is for Tony Bonsante who won his fight in St. Paul last night. I graduated from the same school (Crosby-Ironton) as Tony did, but I was a couple years older. Congrats to Tony for still beating up those younger guys. I think Tony is around 36 or 37 years old. The “Contender” was his breakthru, and know it sounds like another fight at Madison Square Garden is in the works. Later.

I was there last night with my 11 year old son, who met Tony up deer hunting at a resteraunt.
My son was so excited to see him that he put his fists up at Tony. When Tony looked at him and asked him which one do you want “Thunder or Lightening” with his fists up, then he ran out to his vehicle and returned with personally signed picture for him and gave him one to give to his sister. Then he proceeded to sit down and visit with him for awhile.
It’s not real often that athletes with somewhat of a name will take the time for others like he did that day.
He’s my sons hero. My son was yelling so hard for Tony last night he lost his voice.
Tony is truly a family man and it appears that he loves to interact with the kids.
He sure put a beating on that guy last night, not bad for a 36 year old. Go Bullet Go!
    Next stop Madison square garden!

I read about it in the paper today. As I was reading I was trying to remember where I knew the name, thanks now I know.
He is a couple years younger than I but I knew the name.

does graduating from Aitkin count as being close to C I, seeing how we all mixed up our hockey team to be C I A, anyway, don’t know tony, but wish him luck, sounds like a great guy, especially after taking time out to talk with kids.
