I have a buddy looking to have a swing tounge put on his trailer. It doesn’t have breaks, so he’s hoping it would be rather easy. The problem is he doesn’t know where to go to get this done. Any suggestions in the Minneapolis area?

Mike, I have a swing tounge on my shoreland’r and I love it! Just the 12″-16″ or so it saves in the garage is something…..I know of only one place that could maybe pull this off and it’s just north of the Anoka county fair grounds on hyway 47. I can’t remember the name of the place?
They do all kinds of custom trailers etc……..
You may need to take a drive up for a look.

I noticed that Cabelas had swing tongues for Shoreland’rs in the latest flyer. If he’s got just a couple of tools the switch would be very easy since there are no brake lines to open.

I also have a swing tongue and love it. Any top notch Marine dealer will do it for about a $100 give or take, as long as it don’t have brakes I would say.. At least M W Marine dose it.
