I like to use them on large flats barren of weeds where there are fish cruising around foraging or in water depths that are not producing weeds. Another thing to keep in mind while fishing deep water, you don’t have to put the Reel Weeds all the way to bottom too get them to hold fish 
You have to get out of the Yellow Rocket more often, you are living a sheltered life
