First time poster…Long time lurker. I finally jumped on board with great fishing minds! I’ve been “lurking” since FTR, I can’t believe how much this site has grown. I remember when FTR had stage flow readings for the Missisippi river. I have actually met some of you at the ARM event 2 years ago. Good job with that guys! You’all seem to be a very humble group that is tight with one another. Good to hang with good folk!

    Later,

Welcome aboard Travis, looking forward to see what kind of ideas you have to add to the site. Being an ARM participant already, I have an idea you have some insight to fishing to share with us as well.. Again welcome aboard..

    Welcome Travis!

I have to ask, what made you cross to member? Reason I’m asking is that we have anywhere from 2 to 10 lurkers for every member on line. I scratch my head frequently wondering why they don’t jump in. Maybe your reason for coming in well help others believe.

PS don’t listen to Slider and Vandy…well, don’t listen to Slider…Vandy brought Dean and I a cookie this morning.

Thanks for the welcome carpet guys! I appreciate the hospitality. Thats what makes this site different from the rest, more personable and down-to-earth attitudes. Thanks for having me.

BrianK… I tried to join a couple times in the past, but could never get confirmation for membership through e-mail. And I know talking to James 2 years ago at the ARM event he said he could enter me manually, but I just never followed through on my part to get registered. So, here I am today and happy to be involved with this site and members. I had no problem today getting registered as a member, it was quite easy. I think maybe most people who “lurk” might feel they don’t have anything to offer, but as we all know, we learn new tricks and tactics in fishing on a daily basis. Even Pro’s learn new tactics! That’s what makes this site unique, people sharing info with others to better benefit the sport of fishing and hunting.

    Have a good night,
    Travis

There is a great bunch of guys (and girls) here.

I have noticed a bunch of new members here in the past few days. I don’t know what is changing attitudes, but it is only a good thing

Yep! I’ts me. Thanks for hooking me up with that re- fi Gary. It’s amazing how much a difference a 15 year knocks down the balance. Thanks for showing me the difference between all those loans. Thanks Again for your help Gary! For anyone looking for a new mortgage Gary comes highly recommended by me.

Hello everyone, I just joined a few days ago. Just curious how a person becomes a member versus a lurker? Is it based on posts? This site looks like it will be a great! Looking forward to posting.
