Good Morning All,
Some of you probably remember rod-man’s post from this past week about his disability and looking for ideas on what to do. We had awesome responses to that post (Thank you all so much) and were able to take some useful information from them. He’s in the hospital again and could use all of the prayers we can muster.
He wasn’t feeling well Saturday and when his temp his 103.5 Sunday, we went to the ER. They kept him and determined that he has cellulitis (infection) in his remaining foot. Monday they discovered that he also has a staph infection in his bloodstream. Just for fun, they discovered that the EKG they did in the ER Sunday and the EKG they did on Monday looked very different so they transferred him to cardiac intensive care unit at Methodist to monitor his heart.
Last night he started having chest/neck pains and a racing heart rate so they transferred him to the ICU at St. Mary’s where the cardiac specialists are. They got him stabilized and will keep him stable until they can do an angiogram in a day or so after the infections are under control.
Aye, aye, aye! I know that God doesn’t give us more than what we can handle but I’m wondering just how much that is?? Please pray for Frank in hopes that he will have a quick recovery and get back home soon. If anybody is in the area and would like to stop and see him, he is at St. Mary’s hospital, room 4-726 Mary Brigh. I still have to be at work during the day but am up there at night with him. I know he’ll talk your ear off about fishing (or guns) if someone does get a chance to stop. Please keep the prayers coming, we can use all of them we can get!
