    Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who gave me advice on what lures to go with .I ordered some godevils and minimerts.Thanks again you guys are great and so is this site.

    So where are you thinking about fishing. See that you have posting a few different questions on getting started. Have you picked a place yet?

    I did fish milacs a couple of times so far with a buddy.Also have tried east rush.thinking about coon,ham or linwood.Any ideas?Im in coonrapids.

    Linwood and ham have plenty of pan fish. Dont have to walk to far for them either. Ham is a real no brainer for action. Might want to try it early morning or late evening for crappies.
    Not sure about Coon. The few times I ice fished it the crappies where extra small. We have had good luck tip up fishing coon for pike.
