My mom and I used to wind guides on rods for St Croix about 15 years ago at home and we each have a winding table sitting at home collecting dust. They have the spool holder and tensioner along with out 5-6 adjustable rod rollers that the rod sits in to spin the thread on by spinning the rod. The tables are about 4 feet long and in good working order. I was wondering if they are worth anything. We also have lots of guides and thread left. The majority of the guides are the ceramic centers. She wants me to get rid of them for her to get them out of their basement.

I’ll see if I can get some pics. Next time I run up to the parents neck of the woods I’ll take some. You’ll all have a better idea on an offer then. Then I’ll try to work out a price or trade.

I see I am late as usual. I am looking for one of these. It looks like somebody needs to start making them.

hmmm, wonder if there are any shop teachers on here…. …that could possibly have a class mass produce them and sell them as a moneymaker for his program?
