My dad just won a new Winchester Super X2 in a raffle. My dad is a lefty and the safety on the trigger guard is less than ideal. Is it possible for a gunsmith to turn the safety around to make it easier for a lefty?

I was told it could be done on a Benelli, don’t know about the Winchester. I would think it could be done on all makes.

Newer Remingtons it can be switched to.

Why not just sell it and buy a lefty? Seems a better option than having a auto loader spit shells back at his face. Even if the shell doesn’t eject back into his face, one would think it would mess with his concentration?

I’m a lefty will shoot nothing but right handed guns I own a 1100 I have shot thousands of rounds out of and never noticed. A few 22’s though have got me.

Follow this link to the manual for a X2. Right click and “save target as” to save onto your computer. For some reason Winchester doesn’t want you to just click to open.

According to the manual it is reversible. Then again, if it is a new gun didn’t a manual come with it .

    The Super X2’s are reversible.

The X2 would be pretty nice to switch around for a lefty because they eject the shells forward pretty nicely and not strait sideways like a lot of automatics.
